TRIPOMETER records the specific details required of a Compliant Mileage Allowance Payment (AMAP) to be credited to you by your employer. If your employer is not paying you the full AMAP entitlement (£0.40 per mile for the first 10,000 business miles per annum and £0.25 per mile thereafter) you can use your TRIPOMETER reports to claim any difference direct from HMRC.

|
Unlike GPRS Trackers,
Electronic Spreadsheets or Paper logbooks,
Tripometer is non-invasive and
completely paper free.
Drivers use it
because it increases their take-home pay. It
allows the employer to put the responsibility of
recording business trips back on the employee
without any HR or Compliance difficulties and is
widely recognized as the easiest and least
onerous method of compliant business trip
recording. |

'Worse than keeping a mileage
log: An IRS audit'. This was the headline in a
recent article published by the New York Times.
It demonstrates the furstration felt by many who
are required to keep a log of business journeys
and find the task a tiresome and annoying one.
It was for this reason that Tripometer was
designed to be 'Driver-friendly'.
Users
enter their business trips by voice over a
regular mobile phone call. In less than 40
seconds all the necessary details are captured
and made available for reporting online. It's
100% secure and completely paper free.

| 100% Accurate (Audited
Reports) |
As Tripometer treats the vocal
entry as the principle record, each business
trip recorded by a Tripometer user is backed up
by the original vocal record made by mobile
phone. The system will only accept an entry from
a registered mobile number, meaning each user is
him/herself responsible for the data recorded.
Monthly odometer readings are also recorded and
used to differentiate between business and
private mileage.
In the case of business
users, the payroll manager or system
administrator has the ability to audit and
approve each trip as they are recorded. All
Notional Pay calculations are made on the
information recorded and approved within the
system in line with Revenue guidelines and
independently verified by a private audit
company. |
 | |
| 100% Secure (Encrypted &
Password Protected) |
Business trips recorded in
Tripometer are first verified by mobile phone
number. This means that the only way of
recording a business trip within a users's
account is to use one registered mobile phone.
Fraudulant entries from another phone are not
possible.
Access to the online system is
granted only after the entry of a registered
Mobile Number and Password. The system itself is
secured behind a registered SSL certificate and
encrypted to X standard. |
 | |
| 100% Active (Available
24/7) |
| As the system is live 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, users may
enter a business trip or access their account
online at any time. |
 | |
| 100% Coverage (Worldwide
Access) |
| At present Tripometer is in
operation in the Republic of Ireland, the United
Kingdom and the United States. However, entry
points are available for every country on the
planet with language layers available and ready
for installation upon request. |
